Student Work Opportunities 

Working part-time while enrolled at Loyola is a great way to offset the cost of your education. The Federal Work-Study Program provides part-time employment as part of your financial aid package. Loyola will help place you in an appropriate on- or off-campus job to meet the hours awarded in your Financial Aid Award letter.

Work-study awards are given for the academic year (approximately August-May) and are reviewed and renewed annually.

Community-Based Federal Work Study

Loyola’s Community Based Federal Work Study (CBFWS) allows students to earn their work-study award at partnering non-profit agencies in the New Orleans community. Students who qualify for federal work-study can earn $10 per hour working in CBFWS jobs. This is not only a great experiential education opportunity for students, but also a way to serve our community, strengthen the capacity and impact of non-profit agencies, and pursue Loyola's Jesuit mission of service.
